RefX Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

RefX (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides a platform that allows individuals (“Users”) to refer people to businesses and track those referrals. These Terms govern your use of the RefX website and platform. By accessing or using RefX, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Account Eligibility & Responsibilities

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for the security of your account and password.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and comply with all applicable laws.

3. Referral System and Rewards

  • Users can refer people to participating organizations via the RefX app.
  • Rewards and incentives are determined by the participating business (“Customer”)—not RefX.
  • Some organizations may not offer rewards (e.g. for ethical, legal, or religious reasons).
  • Others may provide rewards for closed referrals, received leads, or even for awareness alone.
  • RefX does not guarantee that every referral will be rewarded. Rewards are subject to each business’s internal policies and discretion.

4. Tier System & Points

  • Users earn points based on qualifying referrals.
  • Tier progression is based on confirmed “closed referrals” or defined thresholds set by RefX.
  • Points may be redeemed for non-cash rewards through third-party fulfillment partners.
  • Points have no cash value and may expire or change at RefX’s discretion.

5. Third-Party Reward Fulfillment

  • RefX partners with platforms like Tango, Tremendous, and others to deliver gift cards, donations, or experiences.
  • RefX is not responsible for issues arising after a third-party reward is issued (e.g., invalid gift card codes, expired offers).
  • Users agree to third-party terms when redeeming through their portals.

6. Sweepstakes & Giveaways

  • From time to time, RefX may offer promotional contests.
  • Each contest is governed by its own rules (which will be linked separately).
  • Giveaway eligibility, odds, and prizes will be clearly defined.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Abuse or game the referral system
  • Use bots or automated systems to generate referrals
  • Harass or spam others with links
  • Violate local, state, or federal laws

8. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.
  • RefX reserves the right to withhold rewards if fraudulent activity is suspected.

9. Privacy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use data.

10. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of RefX after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RefX shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
